REPORTS FROM ANALVILLE (aka Gymnasium Information) St. Mary's Gymnasium-middle school events (based upon my eyeball estimates or strides) 1. A standard middle school basket ball court, about 75' x 40' 2. There are 6 retractable goals, one at each end and two on each side. 3. A sloped ceiling, about 28' at apex; slope about 30-40 degrees. 4.Low end of usable ceiling is about 21' 5. Goals if down, are on about 12-14 poles from the ceiling. 6. A set of 4-tiered bleachers on one side of the gym out side of gym, outside of competition area. 7. There will be an area set aside in one corner for practice flights. 8. Another area will be running trajectory. 9. Robo cross will be in an other area. NO ONE, THAT IS NO ONE without a wristband may be inside the actual basket ball floor except the people running the events.
Episcopal Day School gymnasium - high school events(based upon my eyeball estimates or stride) 1. A standard middle school basket ball floor, about 75' x40' 2. 6 non-movable goals:1 at each end; 2 on each side; each about 10' from the end of the basketball out of bounds. 3. All goals are hanging from ceiling by about 12' poles(actually shorter than those above!) 4.Sloping roof of about 30 degrees; many beams and trusses above about 22'. 5.Usable ceiling height about 22-24' 6. Ceiling apex, about 28' 7. On each side of ceiling is one 2' HVAC duct; bottom of duct about 20' above floor 8. In center of gym: 18" light globe, hanging about 3' below HVAC ducts. 9. So in summary about 75' x 40 x 22' 10 Four tiered bleacher on one side, outside of usable area. NO ONE, THAT IS NO ONE without a wristband may be inside the actual basket ball floor except the people running the events.
