Before You Submit ...

GRU Internal Routing Form (required)
This form is a required, internal form and must be filled out and signed by all required parties before submission of your proposal to the funding agency. Approval signatures are required from you (the Project Investigator or Director), your Chair, your Dean and Sarah White, Associate VP of Research Administration, or Kimberly Gray, Director of Proposal Development.

Your budget and project narrative must accompany the form. This form should be completed at least three days prior to submission to ensure its execution.

Cash Match/Cost Sharing Certification Form
This form should be used if any cash match or in-kind match is required with your proposal. We would like to get verification prior to grant being awarded so that cash match accounts can be set up when the grant is awarded.

Proposal Budget Preparation Form (Excel Spreadsheet)
This form will help you prepare the budget. This form is used for planning purposes only, but can be attached to the Internal Approval to Submit Form is the agency budget is multi-year and not as detailed.

Indirect Cost Rate Agreement Letter
This letter verifies the ASU indirect cost rate. Some proposals require this document.

IRS Determination Letter
This letter verifies ASU non-profit, governmental status. Some proposals require this document.

After The Award ...

Post-Award Conference Checklist
Once you are awarded your grant, the Grants Office will hold a post-award conference and review the items on this checklist with you to ensure the smoothest project possible.
