Vanderbilt University is hosting the Spring 2011 NSF Regional Grants Conference, Monday 3/21 - Tuesday 3/22.

For those who've never attended before, the Regional Grants Conference is an excellent forum to get the latest insight on issues at NSF. NSF staff will address the state of current funding, including the latest budget discussions; new and current policies and procedures (RCR and Data Management plans, e.g.); and other administrative issues. Program officers representing each NSF directorate attend and are available to provide information about specific funding and answer questions. We're particularly pleased that the newly appointed NSF Director, Subra Suresh, is planning to provide the keynote address on Monday (barring unforeseen conflicts).
