IRIS Database
This database is accessible from a campus computer only. There are three things you can do at this site.

1. Search the IRIS Database for funding opportunities in every field from agriculture to zoology, or view upcoming deadlines in 25 subject areas.

2. Receive automatic email notifications of new grant opportunities as they are posted to the site through the IRIS Alert Service.

3. Create electronic bios and search for colleagues in your field with the IRIS Expertise Service.

GrantSelect Database
This database is accessible from a campus computer only. GrantSelect is a powerful online database which lists over 13,000 grant programs from over 5,800 unique sponsors. Straight-forward search tools and a clean interface make GrantSelect the preferred tool among researchers as well as nonprofit managers, development officers, small business owners, students, educators, and more. Funding opportunities range from pure research grants to arts programs, biomedical and health care research, community services programs, youth programs, K-12 funding, international programs, and operating grants for nonprofit organizations.

NSF Staffers Release Proposal Development Guide
Several program directors in the National Science Foundation's Division of Undergraduate Education have developed a guide for applicants seeking support for undergraduate and graduate education programs. Duke University provides a comprehensive, searchable database for university funding opportunities. You can search by discipline or other variables.

The Foundation Directory Online
You will need to come to the Grants Office, as this is a password protected site. Nearly 100,000 U.S. foundations and corporate donors, over 2 million recent grants, and over 500,000 key decision makers. You can also find Requests for Proposals from various foundations at http://foundationcenter.org/pnd/ You do not need a password to access this service. The Foundation Center also provides a wealth of information and free grant writing training on their website.

Rural Assistance Center
Health and Human Services Information for Rural America. This site offers a searchable database of funding opportunities.

The Grant Advisor
This site is viewable only from a campus computer. This site publishes lists of grant opportunities in specific areas: fine arts, humanities, education, international, sciences, health related, social sciences, unrestricted/other, and minorities/women.
