We offer a Bachelor of Arts degree in history, with a challenging curriculum that prepares students for success in graduate schools or in a variety of careers, most notably in the areas of teaching, law, journalism, and administration. We also offer a Bachelor of Arts degree in history with certification in secondary education for students interested in teaching high school. Our faculty provide a wide range of expertise with specializations that include the history of Africa, African Americans, the British Empire and Commonwealth, Colonization, India, the Islamic World, Latin America, the Middle Ages, the Middle East, Military, the Renaissance, Russia, Social and Intellectual studies, Tudor-Stuart Britain, and Southern studies, as well as Cultural Anthropology, Archeology, and Philosophy.

The Department of History, Anthropology, and Philosophy is located on the second floor of Allgood Hall on the Walton Way campus of ASU.----------------------------------------- -------
