It is strongly recommended, both by the History Department and the College of Education, that ECON 1810 be taken in Area E or F.

c. Three 3000/4000-level US history courses (9 hours)

*HIST 4011, 4021, 4321, 4900, 4950, 4960, & 4970 are all variable content courses and should be assigned appropriately in the above categories. Also, the department may accept outside courses that have substantial historical content.

Graduating majors must submit at least four term papers for an exit interview and take the Major Field Achievement Test in history.
