You should always register at the earliest
possible time to ensure the best selection of classes. After
advising you will register online through ELROY unless you
are in University College or have Learning Support, CPC
or Regents Test remediation requirements.
Review your schedule/bill carefully after
you register. If you have been awarded financial aid, your
aid will be listed on your schedule bill under CREDITS/ANTICIPATED
CREDITS @ . If the total aid awarded equals or exceeds your
total balance due, a visit to the Financial Aid Office is
not required. If the total aid awarded is less than your
total balance due, then you must pay the difference by the
published fee payment deadline. Please note that there are
certain fees not covered by the HOPE Scholarship. These
are the responsibility of the student. Fee payments may
be made by cash, check, money order, VISA, Discover or MasterCard.
Fee payment may be made online with a credit card.
Review your schedule/bill again prior to
the first day of class. The university may cancel a class
because of insufficient enrollment. Instructors are subject
to change. If you early register for a course and subsequently
do not satisfy a prerequisite for the course, you will be
dropped from the course.
Veterans and veterans' dependents eligible
to enroll under the provisions of a G.I. Bill must be prepared
to pay all fees at the time of registration (with the exception
of P.L.815). Monthly allowances will be received from the
Veterans Administration. Each veteran and veteran's dependent
must report to the Augusta State University Office of Veteran's
Affairs at the time of registration.
You should complete the appropriate aid
year specific FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student
Aid) ON-LINE at www.fafsa.ed.gov
as soon as possible after January 1 each year. The FAFSA
and all supporting documentation must be processed prior
to the deadline published by the Office of Financial Aid
if you plan to use financial aid to cover tuition and fees. |
