Banner, Elroy, and Astro unavailable posted 12/13/2001 . . . Due to the financial systems conversion to Peoplesoft, the Banner production database will not be available for use on Monday & Tuesday, December 17th and 18th. ASTRO and ELROY will also be unavailable during this time.

New Computers in 3rd Floor Library Lab. . . In October we replaced the old computers in the 3rd Floor Library Lobby computer lab. These new computers were funded by the Student Technology fee.

New Training Schedule Available posted 9/7/2001 . . . The Fall Semester Faculty & Staff training schedule has been posted on the web. These classes have a limit of 12 people so get signed up soon.

Banner Downtime posted 9/27/2001 . . . Beginning Monday, October 1 and running through Sunday, October 7, there will be NO ACCESS to the Banner database that includes ASTRO and ELROY. The campus will be upgrading to a newer version of the Banner software.

Student Web Pages posted 9/21/2001 . . . Today, 9/21/2001 at 4:30PM we will begin conversion of the student Web server. Therefore, students will NOT be able to update their pages or request a new account from 4:30PM today, until 7:00AM on Saturday, 9/22/2001. You can still view your pages, just not make any modifications.

Laptop checkout in Reese Library posted 7/27/2001 . . . More plans are in-the-works to provide laptops for students to checkout within the library. These computers will be equipped with wireless connections

Internet Cafe . . . posted 7/5/2001 . . . Plans are underway to create an "Internet Cafe" located in the Washington Hall Cafeteria. There will be about 5 computers available for students to access. So, you can have your coffee, lunch, snack, whatever AND check your email, internet sites, or type up a memo.

Allgood Hall to be Technology Rich . . . posted 05/21/2001 . . .Allgood Hall, the building currently under construction, will be rich with technology. Plans include wireless network areas and some specialty labs, such as a networking lab for Computer Science majors, a journalism lab for Communications majors, and a foreign language lab.

Writing Center and Info Square Updates . . . posted 05/21/2001 . . . Using Student Technology fees, the Writing Center's Computer Lab and Reese Library's Info Square were recently upgraded to newer computers and a whole new look.
