- Laptop Computer Checkout is available for Faculty and Staff
at Augusta State University from Information
Technology Services
office in University Hall. You must show your valid ASU ID.
- The laptop checkout period is variable depending on the circumstances.
Normal checkout is for two days, but may be extended depending
on circumstances.
- The Faculty or Staff is responsible for the computer that
is checked out. Keep the laptop in a secure location and do
not loan to others.
- A laptop may be reserved prior to checkout by contacting
Information
Technology Services in person or by phone Monday
- Friday 8AM - 4:30PM. (706-737-1484)
- A reservation will be canceled for a laptop NOT picked up
by 4PM on the first day it was reserved.
- The computer must be returned to the Information
Technology Services office in University Hall on or before the designated
due date.
- The computer will be shown to the Faculty or Staff to be
in good working order upon checkout.
- The computer will be booted up and checked upon return. When
returning a laptop, the Faculty or Staff must allow adequate
time for that check to take place.
- The Faculty or Staff checking out a laptop is expected to
read and abide by the Faculty/Staff Laptop Checkout Policy,
the Computer and Network Usage Policy, and all other Augusta
State University policies and guidelines regarding access and
rights to information and use of State of Georgia resources.
- The Faculty or Staff should report any problems encountered
with the computer to the Information
Technology Services HelpDesk
at 706-737-1482 (Monday - Friday 8AM to 4:30 PM
