What is it?

PAWPRINT$, a print management system, is installed on all the general campus lab computers and study areas. In addition, some departments are also using this system to manage printing.

PAWPRINT$ provides a way to help our students be more judicious in the use of the printing resources, not a means for charging for printing in the general labs. Effective Spring Term 2006, each student will be allotted $25.00 per term for printing, which at $.05 per page for standard black & white laser printing, provides 500 pages for the term. This allocation is NOT rolled over from term to term. We will continue to collect data to ensure that this is a reasonable number for printing what students need for their classes.

Beginning Spring Term 2009 (January 2009) students who need to print more than their allotment MUST use money from their JagCard .

How to add JagCash funds

Students may add JagCash funds in the ASU Bookstore, the Business Office, the JagCard Office, JagCard terminal in Allgood Hall, or JagCard terminal in JSAC.

When you print a document
  1. A message will popup indicating how many pages you are trying to print and how much the job will cost to print.
  2. Your current available funds message is displayed.
  3. When asked if you want to print the job, select YES or NO from the pull down display window.
  4. If you do not select YES within a reasonable amount of time, the print job will automatically cancel and you will not be charged. If you select NO your print job will cancel and you will not be charged.
  5. After the job prints, another message will display telling you your job has printed and which printer it went to.
  6. If you have questions or need assistance, contact the ITS Student Help Desk in University Hall Room 130 (706-737-1676).
