Scheduled System Maintenance Routine time periods are scheduled for maintenance and upgrades on various ASU computer systems. The designation of a standard system maintenance period ensures that users can consistently plan around these operations. If you have questions or comments about this, please contact the Help Desk at 706-737-1482. Not all systems will be affected during each maintenance period and Information Technology Services will announce the systems for which maintenance is scheduled in advance each week.
Routine maintenance periods are scheduled for Sunday mornings between 6:00am and 1:00pm. During this period the University's network, computer labs, administrative systems, Internet or other centralized services may be unavailable. Elroy is unavailable Monday - Sunday from 3 AM to 4 AM.
Banner routine maintenance and upgrades may be performed Monday - Friday from 6AM - 8AM
Computer Lab Maintenance is every Thursday morning for one hour from 2:30AM until 3:30AM (These labs are listed below). NOTE: The computers in the 24 hour labs will be unavailable during this hour on Thursday mornings. Students who may be in the 24 hour labs just before 2:30AM should save their work and log off the computer. Labs affected:
Windows and Office updates are applied to Campus Office computers weekly. The updates are scheduled at 1:00AM on Thursday morning (also known as Wednesday night). If your computer is NOT left powered on when you leave work on Wednesday, then the updates are rescheduled to occur 60 minutes after you turn on your computer when arriving for work on Thursday morning.
