Additional Services
Installation & Support
As part of our service, we install desktop computers, peripherals, and software products purchased through the campus. Information Technology Services strives to keep up with new releases of software and hardware. When new products become available, we begin research of the package as it pertains to functionality in a stand–alone and a networked environment. Our goal is to support the most recent release plus one revision below, but in this world of rapidly changing technology, this is often a difficult task.
Lab–In–A–Box
The Lab–In–A–Box consists of 30 wireless laptop computers in a large rolling cart. The cart acts as the home base to recharge and store the laptops until they are ready to be delivered to a classroom. The computers use the WAASU wireless network to access the Internet, and can run other software applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or SPSS. The wireless feature is optional. Call Information Technology Services at (706) 737–1484 if you are interested in using this resource in your class. The mobile lab was funded by the Student Technology Fee.

Evaluation Instructions for College of Business Administration
Instructions for the person administering the evaluation
These instructions should be read before every evaluation even though students may have heard them many times. They are aimed at encouraging students to take the evaluations seriously and answer the questions thoughtfully.
Instructions to be read to the students
This occasion for evaluation of both the course and the professor is your opportunity to have input into the educational process of your university. It is a great responsibility that requires thought, objectivity, honesty, and fairness on your part. This evaluation will be used by the professor and administrator to maintain and improve the quality of the course and the teaching of the professor. As you evaluate the course, please remember to consider your own responsibility as a student, taking into consideration your attendance, your completion of reading and other assignments in a timely manner, and the amount of work you put into the course.

The computer sheets are treated differently. Information Technology Services will process the sheets into reports that are sent back to the Dean's office and to the individual professor. The Dean of Business will consider these reports when preparing annual evaluations of faculty. Please take your time and answer the questions thoughtfully.

This process is completely anonymous. Your professor must not be present while you complete the evaluation forms. The person administering the evaluation will separate the computer sheets from the written answers and deliver them to your professor's department. Each department is governed by a "chair." Your professor's chair will set the written answers aside, unread, until after all grades for the course have been turned in to the Registrar. No one will see the written answers until after your grades are reported. At that time, the written answers will be given to your professor, who is expected to consider your suggestions. Professors can choose to include the written comments in their annual reports, but you should address your comments to the professor, not to any administrator.
