Mathematica for Students
As part of our campus site license with Wolfram Research, Mathematica software is available for currently enrolled Augusta State University students to download to their home computer at no additional charge. By downloading this product you agree to abide by the guidelines and license agreements required by Wolfram Research upon installation of the software. You will be prompted to enter your JagNET login and password before you download the software.
You should be aware that Information Technology Services does not guarantee the product will work on your home computer and that ITS does not provide support for your home installation. If you experience problems with your installation, Wolfram Research has an extensive site with tutorials and other support documentation.

- Download the Mathematica installation information and refer to the "System Administration for Single–Machine Licenses" section. Select the section based on your operating system and then follow the instructions for installation of the software.
- Download the Getting Started information. This includes the ASU license number you need to install the software.
- Now you are ready to download your copy of Mathematica (version 8.x) for Windows or Apple OS X. You will be prompted to enter your JagNET login and password before you download the software. Your download will be a .zip file.

- After you install Mathematica you should be prompted to enter information to request an Activation Key. If you do not receive this prompt, send an e-mail to Janice DeLoach (firstname.lastname@example.org) to request an Activation Key be created for Mathematica. Be sure to include your name, ASU e-mail address, and which operating system you have. A key will be generated within 24 hours and e-mailed to you.
