River Area Library Association Newsletter
Volume 36, Number
4, May, 2001
We have had three delightful meetings this year and I have no doubt our business meeting on May 5th will be as well. The business meeting will end our year of quarterly meetings. I want to thank the officers organizing this year's meetings. Amy Duernberger is planning the May meeting. A huge thank you to Melissa Harter from Augusta State for being the editor of our newsletter The Bookshelf. The newsletter is a great communication tool for this organization as we are both near and far from each other.
As president, I've enjoyed meeting new faces and seeing familiar faces. I thank all of you for your help and support. A peek at some program possibilities for next year proves that it will be another year of fun. The strength of any organization is its members. I urge those of you who have not yet renewed your membership to do so.
Debbie Barron is organizing a CSRA Library Association night at the Greenjackets. Last year we had a double-header! The dates will be announced via e-mail or on the web page.
