The Technical Services Department is responsible for ordering, receiving, invoicing, and cataloging, all print, electronic and video materials for Reese Library and Media Services.
The Acquisitions and Serials Units work in partnership with the academic department faculty and other librarians to acquire materials that support the Augusta State University curriculum and provide access to research collections in all formats. Traditionally this has meant books, scores, microfilm and other print materials; but the Library is rapidly increasing its range of formats to include videos, CD-ROMs, DVDs, electronic serials, online databases and other electronic media.
