Service is Mu Zeta Chapter's first order of business. The Mu Zeta Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha has been busy, committing hours of service to our community.  We enjoy partaking in any activities that will benefit education, family, health, economics, and the arts.  Here are a few services Mu Zeta Chapter has rendered...

• Participated in the Walk for Diabetes
• Collected coats during Christmas to help the needy
• Made baskets for Girls Incorporated
• Planted ivies with our adopted nursing home for the month of March
• Soror Kendra Decoteau represented the chapter and won Ms. Augusta State University
• Collectively made purchases from black businesses and encouraged others to so during Black Dollar Week
• Volunteered monthly at the Golden Harvest Food Bank
• Soror Katina Williams represented the chapter and won 1st runner-up to Ms. Augusta State University
• Delivered cards and candy to nursing home occupants for Valentine's Day
• Assisted in the local Children's Miracle Network program
