A Media Center training session consists of a multimedia tour of the Media Center and hands on training with a variety of technologies available. Two orientation sessions are scheduled each semester. The Media Center also offers tours of the Media Center facilities. On a tour you will see the multimedia development stations, the digital video editing stations and get an overview of the services offered. The Media Center also welcomes drop in tours and training for all faculty, staff, and students. Our qualified staff is ready to assist you.

Classroom Equipment Training

Media Services provides training in the use of classroom equipment available for faculty, staff, and students through Classroom Services. It is recommended to anyone preparing a presentation to become familiar with the equipment operations prior to the presentation. Persons interested in learning to utilize classroom equipment should contact Classroom Services to make group or individual arrangements; call 667-4941 or drop by Classroom Services in University Hall Room 161.

Media Services also provides training for the following software: FrontPage or Macromedia Dreamweaver (for web design), PaintShop Pro or Adobe PhotoShop CS (for scanning and editing images), PowerPoint (for presentations), HP ScanText (for scanning text), iMovie or Final Cut Pro (for video editing).
