CIRCULATION
POLICY
Identification:
- Students, faculty,
and staff are required to present a current ASU identication
when borrowing materials.
- Materials will
be loaned only to the person to whom the ID card is issued.
- The person whose
name appears on the checkout form is responsible for returning
the borrowed materials.
- There are no exceptions.
- All equipment
must be returned to the Media Center circulation desk.
- It is the borrower's
responsibility to note the date and time of check out and
return all items to the circulation desk.
- Videos may be
placed in the drop box located in the lobby outside the Media
Center after operational hours.
Fines:
- It is the borrower's
responsibility to return materials when they are due.
- Fines are imposed
not to penalize the patron nor as a means of revenue, but
rather to insure materials or equipment are returned promptly
for the use of others.
- University regulations
require that all unpaid fines be reported to the University
Registrar at the close of the semester.
- Students who have
not settled their Media Services accounts before the end of
the semester will not be permitted to graduate, to register
for a subsequent semester, or to secure a transcript of their
record at the University until such accounts are settled.
- Fines are assessed
for overdues as follows:
All materials
and equipment that is overdue will be charged $1.25 per hour
per item.
