CIRCULATION POLICY

Identification:
  1. Students, faculty, and staff are required to present a current ASU identication when borrowing materials.
  2. Materials will be loaned only to the person to whom the ID card is issued.
  3. The person whose name appears on the checkout form is responsible for returning the borrowed materials.
  4. There are no exceptions.
  5. All equipment must be returned to the Media Center circulation desk.
  6. It is the borrower's responsibility to note the date and time of check out and return all items to the circulation desk.
  7. Videos may be placed in the drop box located in the lobby outside the Media Center after operational hours.
Fines:
  1. It is the borrower's responsibility to return materials when they are due.
  2. Fines are imposed not to penalize the patron nor as a means of revenue, but rather to insure materials or equipment are returned promptly for the use of others.
  3. University regulations require that all unpaid fines be reported to the University Registrar at the close of the semester.
  4. Students who have not settled their Media Services accounts before the end of the semester will not be permitted to graduate, to register for a subsequent semester, or to secure a transcript of their record at the University until such accounts are settled.
  5. Fines are assessed for overdues as follows:

All materials and equipment that is overdue will be charged $1.25 per hour per item.

Loss of Equipment Cost of equipment replacement plus $10.00 processing fee
Damage of Equipment Cost of Repair plus $10.00 processing fee


Fines will be paid at the Media Center Circulation desk.
