Visit with us at Fort Gordon or on campus to learn more about what Augusta State University has to offer. Our historic campus on Walton Way was once the site of a U. S. Army Arsenal, established in 1826. The campus maintains its military origins, including the original 1827-29 buildings and enclosed quadrangle, a Civil War cannon, a military cemetery, and a history museum chronicling our days as an arsenal.
