Matt Henderson is originally from Taylors, SC. He has received both the Master of Music and Bachelor of Music degrees from the Lynn University Conservatory of Music in Boca Raton, FL. Matt also received the Certificate of Graduate Study in Trombone Performance from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. Matt has performed with the Charleston and Miami Symphony Orchestras, the Savannah and South Carolina Philharmonic Orchestras, the Brevard Music Center Orchestra, and the West Palm Beach Opera. He has also performed with such notable artists as Yo-Yo Ma, Keith Lockhart, Midori, and Joshua Bell. Professor Henderson teaches trombone, euphonium, and tuba at the University of South Carolina at Aiken, Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina and Augusta State University.
