Dr. Suzanne Hall is an Assistant Professor of Music Education at Augusta State University where she teaches undergraduate courses in music education, supervises students teachers and coordinates the music education program.

Her previous teaching experiences include elementary general music (K-5) in Florida and Tennessee and as adjunct professor in music education for the University of Central Florida where she taught elementary majors how to include music in the general classroom.  Her research interests include pre-service music teacher training, music and literacy connections and comprehensive musicianship.

Dr. Hall has presented research and professional development workshops on music and language arts in Mississippi, Tennessee, Wisconsin, North Carolina, New York, Arkansas, and Florida. She has co-developed MusicPLUS Literacy, a comprehensive music and language arts curriculum for grades K-2, and is co-author of Teaching Elementary Musicc: Integrative Strategies Between Music and Other Subjects.  She received a Bachelors of Music Education and Masters in Education from the University of Central Florida (Orlando, FL) and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Music Education from the University of Memphis (Memphis, TN).
