To keep parents and other amused and working during the times when students are doing things,
1. You will be receiving a whole list of questions pertaining to the anniversaries listed at the bottom many pages.
2. There will be a contest dealing with the history of Augusta and Augusta State University. This contest will be run as an adult event with a meaningful prize. Details to follow.

1. The father of Mark Harmon is Tom Harmon
2. Tom Harmon was born in Rensselaer, IN, and then moved to Gary, Indiana.
3. Tom Harmon played football for Horace Mann (High) School.
4. Dorothy Knight attended junior high school at Horace Mann.
5. Dorothy mentioned that she thought she and Tom may have been in perhaps the same grade.
6. Dorothy Knight married Harvey Wellnitz. They lived in Gary and had three children, who all grew up in Gary. The three children(oldest to youngest) were William R, Wendy L, and Thomas R
