Augusta State University and Augusta-Richmond County are proud to be hosting the 2009 Science Olympiad National Tournament. Because ASU does not have campus dorms, we have made arrangements with a number of local hotels and motels in the Augusta area. Some of the listed hotels are holding a block of rooms; others simply have a guaranteed rate. When contacting the hotel/motel, mention the National Science Olympiad or NSO. The prices listed do not include 13% sales and entertainment tax. Most of the rooms being held contain two queen beds, but some of the rooms are suites or rooms with kings. Different properties are holding different numbers of units. Most hotels/motels are located near Washington Road, I-20, or River Watch Parkway, and are about 3-4 miles from campus. The indicated price includes complimentary continental or deluxe continental breakfast unless otherwise noted.. All hotels/motels have agreed to begin serving breakfast at 5:45 am on Saturday, 16 May, 2009, unless noted. Parking is available for buses. |
