Department of Nursing

Pre-Nursing Students:

Augusta State University pre-nursing students are those who have declared Nursing as their major and are working on required core courses before seeking admission to the nursing program. Pre-nursing students will be advised by faculty in the Department of Nursing. Pre-nursing students are encouraged to meet with their designated nursing advisor prior to registration each semester and as the need for additional academic counseling as the need arises.

Students who declare nursing as a major and who are completing learning support requirements are advised through the Learning Support Department. Students in Learning Support are encouraged to meet with a nursing advisor to learn more about the nursing program and its requirements.
