STATE EXAMINING BOARD RIGHTS OF REFUSAL
Applicants
to the nursing program should be aware that the state examining board has the
right to refuse to grant registered nurse licenses to any individuals regardless
of their educational credentials under circumstances of:
1.
Falsification of application for licensure;
2. Conviction of a felony or crime
of moral turpitude;
3. Other moral and legal violations specified in the Georgia
law.
Applicants who think they might have an applicable
situation should talk with the department chair early in their program of study.
