Augusta State University Sponsored Event
Who pays this rate?
This is the rate charged to off campus users of the Maxwell Theatre that are co-presenting an event with an Augusta State University department or official student organization. If the event is a fundraiser for an official non-profit organization, the non-profit rate must be used.
In order to qualify for this rate the sponsoring campus department or student organization must fill out the following form:

The form will clarify if the event qualifies for a reduced rental fee at the Maxwell Theatre . The event must serve the mission of the University and the Department and/or the Student Organization that is sponsoring the event. The Sponsoring Department and/or Student Organization may agree to sponsor the event only if certain guidelines are followed. It is up to the department to determine if they wish to impose restrictions. All restrictions must be in writing and must be included in the rental contract. If it is determined that the event does not qualify for the co-sponsor rate, the off campus group must pay either the non-profit rate or the off-campus rate as appropriate. This worksheet is intended only to determine a rental rate. Departments may still offer support to events that do not qualify for this rate.

Remember, that only forms sent from the Maxwell Theatre and signed by the Director are “official” estimates. However, this form should give you a good idea of what your actual expenses will be.
Once you have determined what your likely expenses will be, please send in your Facilities Reservations Form with a check for your non-refundable $50 deposit to make your reservation official.
