Dr. Linda Banister, mezzo-soprano, joins the Orchestra for a performance of Beethoven's Ah, Perfido, Op.65, a story of a young woman's love, rage, and regret when she is betrayed by her lover. The Wind Ensemble will perform equally dramitic repretoire concluding with Steven Reineke's Fate of the Gods, an epic story of good and evil, inspired by Nordic mythology.
