How to Print a Requisition

From the Peoplesoft Financials menu bar select,
Go | Administer Procurement | Requisition Items
From the menu bar select, Report | Requisition Print | Add or Update (if this is the first time choose Add)

You should have a unique run control for every process. For example you may use the same run control for all req printing but do not use the same run control for budget printing also.

Enter a process and press ENTER
Select the Business Unit
Select your Requisition ID
In the Req Statuses to Include box, click SELECT ALL

Click the RUN icon
From the Print window, select either print to a FILE or print to a PRINTER. (You can not print to WINDOW from this procedure).

Local Printer: To print to your local printer (a printer physically connected to your computer), enter LPT1

USB Printer: To print to a local USB printer, enter the full pathname of that printer. (For example:\\csvrec\dj990cxi) This step can be confusing as you MUST have the slashes (\) entered correctly, the computer name and printer name MUST be entered correctly, and this printer must also be shared under your PRINTERS (Control Panel | Printers).

Network Printer: To print to a network printer, enter the full pathname of that printer. (For example: \\gutenburg1\hhpr1a) This step can be confusing as you MUST have the slashes (\) entered correctly, the server name and printer name MUST be entered correctly, and this printer driver must also be listed under your PRINTERS (Control Panel | Printers).

File Print: To print to a file, accept the default name of C:\TEMP

Click OK
When the process has finished the SQR button on the windows task bar (bottom of your screen), will disappear and the document will begin to print, or the file will be in the C:\TEMP directory.
