High School diploma or GED; six months cashiering, computer and customer service experience helpful.

PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICER I

 

Requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license; previous police work and police certification from P.O.S.T. required.

 

A.V. SYSTEMS INTEGRATOR / PROGRAMMER

High school diploma required; some college preferred; one year experience with electronic equipment; two years supervisory experience required.  Basic computer experience to include word processing, spreadsheets, database, graphic, and presentation designs.  The scheduled hours will fluctuate on a daily and semester basis in the timeframe of 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

 

LIBRARY CLIENT SUPPORT SPECIALIST

High school diploma, some college preferred; six months working in a library or public service work preferred.  Must be familiar with CSS, XHTML, and Javascript.  Proficiency in current Windows OS, PC troubleshooting, and web editor/ graphics editor experience is needed.  Ability to quickly learn computer software, a strong understanding of web base design; knowledge of basic trouble-shooting techniques; ability to work well with a diverse group; ability to work without constant supervision.

 

COORDINATOR OF SPECIAL STUDENT PROGRAMS

Bachelor’s degree required; 1–2 years previous work experience in academic advising, counseling, residence life or other related experience assisting students.  Current technology in computer software, including desktop publishing, word processing, spreadsheets, Access, Banner, etc.  Requires demonstrated ability to work with diverse student population.

MEDIA RELATIONS SPECIALIST

A Bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism, or related field and has a minimum of one year of professional experience.  Must be an excellent writer and editor; be organized, extremely detail-oriented, and able to accomplish a number of tasks with limited supervision.  Familiarity with Word applications and Design software is essential.

 

LIBRARY ASSISTANT II

Two years of college, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.  Two years working in a library or other field needing careful organizational skills.  Word processing required.  Computer literacy, patience and attention to detail, ability to work without constant supervision.  Some knowledge of library principals and routines.  Ability to delegate, direct, and train student employees.

 

LIBRARY ASSISTANT III

Two years of college in any discipline; Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience and two years working in a library or experience in a similar work place.  Must be able to type 30 WPM and have computer experience in Microsoft Word; must have good customer service skills, attention to detail, and good organizational skills.  Must be available for night and weekend work.

 

BUSINESS MANAGER

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in college student personnel or related field preferred.  One year professional experience in event planning, facility management or student activities.  Must have budgeting experience, computer competency and strong communication and organizational skills.

 

ADMIN. ASST. TO THE V.P. – BUSINESS OPERATIONS

This position provides administrative support to the Vice President for Business Operations.  Position requires a strong customer service orientation and the ability to work independently in handling a wide range of topics.  Must have a high school diploma; some college preferred.  Must have five years of responsible secretarial/administrative experience; computer skills, including Microsoft Office Word and Excel.  Must type 60 WPM; must have excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
