OUR SUCCESS

Our successes are many and are evidenced by the achievements of our participants.  From academics to sports to music to leadership, our youth have accomplished so much due to their involvement with Project Success.  One of our participants was the Seventh Grade Spelling Bee Champion at her school, another was a member of a successful basketball team that will soon be involved in international competition, and two others where elected to serve as President and Vice President of the Student Council at their school.  Two first place and on second place winners in the statewide Toastmasters International Public Speaking Contest are among our success stories.

Our participants could not achieve so much without a dedicated teaching/mentor staff.  One of our students was so impressed with the role her Project Success teacher had in helping her achieve the highest average in her ninth grade Algebra class, that she nominated her teacher, who was chosen to be a torch bearer for the 1996 Olympic games.
