Jaguars Advance to Nationals

golf teamAugusta State’s men’s golf team made it to the National NCAA Division I Golf Championship at Perdue University’s Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex in West Lafayette, Ind. The tournament was held May 28-31. This was the 10th appearance in the national championship overall in 13 regional appearances. ASU had finished second in the NCAA East Regional, hosted by the University of Tennessee-Chattnooga, behind first place finishers, the University of Georgia.

In the Regional competition, the Jaguars posted their second-best NCAA Regional finish in school history. With a three-round total of 20-under-par 832, ASU registered the fourth-lowest total in school history and the lowest-ever 54-hole total in 13 NCAA regional appearances.
