    Please let us know:
        Who is sponsoring the event?
        What is the official name of the event?
        What type of event is it? (seminar, workshop, concert, etc.)
        When will the event take place? (date and time)
        Where will it be held?
         Is the general public invited to the event?
        Approximately how many people do you expect to attend?
        Is there a cost to attend?
        What relevant information would you like to include? (eg: special features, speaker's bio, significance of event)
        Who is the contact person for the event? (include a phone number)

    Please let us know the following:
        Who is being honored?
        Title/Department?
        Degrees Received— Institutions and years.
        Name of Honor or Recognition.
        Date, place, and occasion of presentation (eg: February 1, 2000, annual conference,, Georgia Women in              Education, Jekyll Island, GA).
        Criteria or significance of the honor.
        Include a brief description of the awarding organization if appropriate.
        Contact person and phone number.

Conference Presentations and/or Publications


    Include the following:
        Who is the researcher/presenter/author? (include a phone number)
        Title/Department
        Degrees Received— Institutions and years.
        What is the title of the article/book/presentation?
        If the publication is a book, who is the publisher?
        If it is an article, where was it published? (date)
        If it is a presentation, include the date, place, and occasion.

News releases are routinely mailed to the media outlets in Augusta State's service area. If information is about individuals, the releases are also sent to alumni offices of the institutions they attended.  If you would like for other publications to be notified, please furnish the names and mailing addresses (if known).
