What students don’t know may hurt them
Augusta, GA – More and more colleges and universities are beginning to use new tools for enrollment such as checking out a student’s profile on popular online communities including Facebook and MySpace.com. But what students don’t know is that having a profile on a social networking site may hurt them.
The Career Center at Augusta State University is addressing this issue by sponsoring the free program, Facebook: What You Don’t Know May Hurt You, from noon-1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21, in ASU’s Jaguar Student Activities Center Coffeehouse.
