ASU’s Department of Art to host Open House
Augusta, Ga. – Artwork for sale, state-of-the-art studios, and celebrated artists. The Department of Art at Augusta State University will host an open house on Wednesday, April 25, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in Washington Hall that features all three.
Visitors may tour the new facilities, meet faculty artists, and shop for original artwork by ASU students at the Mad Potters tent—all while enjoying the sounds of jazz by Rob Foster, associate professor of music in ASU’s Department of Music.
A meeting for high school art teachers and prospective students will be held from 11-11:30 a.m. in the Dome Room. Following the meeting will be a presentation by art historian Michael Schwartz.
This free event is open to the public. For more information, call ASU’s Department of Art at 706-667-4888.
