New Student Convocation scheduled

Augusta, Ga. – Students new to Augusta State University will get their first introduction to the university at the annual New Student Convocation on Sunday, Aug. 12, beginning at 3 p.m. at Christenberry Field House on Wrightsboro Road.

Dr. Joyce Jones, vice president for student services and dean of students, will lead the convocation. The featured speakers will be Dr. Marc Miller, dean of the Hull College of Business, and Dr. Paula Dohoney, chair of the Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences. Following the ceremony, students will have the opportunity to learn more about student services and other campus resources.
