Augusta State named as finalist for customer service awards

Augusta, Ga. – Augusta State University is one of seven finalists in the Chancellor’s Customer Service Recognition Awards competition for the University System of Georgia. Four additional finalists are from Augusta State, and all will receive special recognition from Chancellor Errol B. Davis, Jr. The finalists—who were announced on Tuesday, Sept. 25—have also been nominated for the Team Georgia Governor’s Recognition for Excellence in Customer Service Awards.

These finalists from the University System will compete with approximately 42 other state agencies for the Governor’s Recognition for Excellence in Customer Service Awards. The awards ceremony will be held on Oct. 30, 2007.
