Alumni Association Awards BanquetThe ASU Alumni Association will recognize outstanding alumni and friends at their annual meeting and awards
celebration Friday, February 18, at 6 p.m., at the Marbury Center on Broad Street.
Award recipients and their awards will include the Honorable James G. Blanchard, Jr., superior court judge for the Augusta Judicial Circuit, the Distinguished Alumnus Award; Dr. Fred Barnabei, ASU vice president for business and student services, the Distinguished Service Award; Mr. Jasper A. Cooke, ASU director of public safety and a 1987 alumnus, the Town and Gown Award; Mr. James M. Britt, chief executive officer and president of Refractory Materials International and a 1975 alumnus, the Golden Key Award; and Ms. Amy S. Dorrill, chief development officer at University Healthcare Foundation and a 1994 alumna, the Young Alumna Award.
The association will also present the slate of the 2005-2006 board of directors and new officers. Tickets are $50, which includes dinner and drink tickets, and are available at the Office of Alumni Relations.
