HOMECOMING 2005Homecoming ’05 repeats successful events of the past and introduces new ones in this year’s celebration February 14-19.
Events begin with a block party on Monday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., in the Quadrangle, continue with employer and educator expos on Thursday and Friday, and will culminate on Saturday as the Jaguars take on Clayton College.
Homecoming day, Saturday, February 19, will feature an admissions campus visitation from 1-3 p.m. in University Hall. Then at 5:30 p.m., the Lady Jaguars basketball team will take on Clayton College. The men’s team will play at 7:30 p.m. The game will also feature the announcement of the spirit banner winners, the selection of Mr. and Mrs. Augusta State University, and the giveaway of a women’s diamond ring.
Also taking place during the week is an employer expo, featuring more than 50 employers, on Thursday, February 17, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Christenberry Fieldhouse. There will also be an educator expo on Friday, February 18, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the fieldhouse.
