Table of Contents Top educators recognized at ASU - Three faculty members are honored at Augusta State University's annual Honors Convocation. Leadership panel concludes Women's Week activities - Several area women leaders advise ASU students on how to be successful. Phi Kappa Phi presents third annual Research and Fine Arts Conference - More than 50 students showcase their talents. 135 students participate in ASU's annual math contest - 12 schools in Georgia and 11 in South Carolina participate in ASU's 28th Annual Math Contest. Family Fun Fair at ASU - ASU education students create literacy activities for parents to do at home with their children. ASU recognizes Co-Op Student of the Year - Phillip Clark, Jr., a computer science major is honored as ASU's top student. ASU hosts state-wide Science Olympiad - Area middle school students test their understanding and application of science. Weekend Warriors attack ASU - College-bound high school students attend tutoring sessions at the ASU Writing Center. Nominations sought for award - Applications are sought for the Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Parternership Award for Campus-Community Collaboration. Vice President for Academic Affairs search continues - ASU receives 114 applications for the Vice President for Academic Affairs position. ASU sports teams rank well in national standings- The Jaguar baseball team ranks 16th, and the men's tennis and golf teams rank high as well. ASU Spotlight - Meet Delon Hampton of the Physical Plant. Office Visit - The Procurement Office offers a wide range of services including university credit cards, telecommunications orders, and construction bids and contracts.
