A portrait of golf legend Bobby Jones is being dedicated on Friday, April 2, at the Forest Hills Golf Club, the course where Jones began his 1930 campaign for a Grand Slam with a victory in the Southeastern Open.

The painting, by Augusta artist William “Billy” Rossignol, was donated to the university by Foundation trustees and alumni John Bell and Dick Daniel.

The dedication also coincided with practice rounds for the Cleveland Golf – ASU Invitational, which is hosted by the Augusta Golf Association. The tournament features 18 teams within the Division I Collegiate Men’s Golf Division.
