Scott Henson (MED ’03) has been elected to serve as Vice-President for Membership for the alumni association. Rhonda Oellerich (BBA ’00) will serve as Vice President of Awards. And, Lynthia Ross (’03) is the new secretary of the association New Alumni Association Board Members Named Eight alumni were elected at the alumni association annual meeting to serve three-year terms on the Alumni Association Board of Directors. They are Mary Margaret Williams (BBA ’03), Fernando Aviles (BBA ’04), Ginny Loveless (BA ’03), Ingrid Etterlee (BBA ’04), Andrea Turley (ASN ’85), Jennifer Hilliard (BA ’01), Stephanie Quattlebaum (BA ’03), and Tim Walls (BA ’99, MBA ’03). Births Kristopher Kraft (BA-Biology ’93) and his wife Kimberly announce the birth of their son, Daniel Lee. Robyn McCay (MBA ’01) and her husband Stephen announce the birth of their son, Stephen Palmer. Renee Prescott Savage (BA ’91, MED ’94) and her husband Joe announce the birth of their daughter, Morgann Michele. Deborah Carter (BBA-Accounting ’95) and her husband Clay announce the birth of their daughter, Emma Caroline. Michael Lammers (BSED ’95, MED ’02) and his wife Melissa announce the birth of their daughter, Lucia Manran. Kellye Panke (BSED ’98) and her husband Chris announce the birth of their daughter, Kathleen Elizabeth. Claire Poteet Boulus (BA ’98) and her husband Gregory announce the birth of their son, Thomas Vaughn. Stacy McGowen-Hudson (BA ’03) and her husband Thomas (an ASU student) announce the birth of their daughter, Emerson Renee. Engagements Ashley Anne Morris (BA ’96, MED ’00) is engaged to James M. H. Singleton, V. Ashley Lynn Jarrett (BS ’04) is engaged to Christopher Philip Rodwell. Weddings Randy Cantu (BA ’82) married Laurie Algar Adams on Saturday, February 13, 2005. Tina Renee Todd (BBA ’04) married Aaron Michael Weeks on Saturday, March 19, 2005. Career Moves Ashley Patterson (BFA ’02) has established her business, The Art of Gardening, in Augusta. June W. Barksdale (BA Psychology ’93, MS Psychology ’95) has joined the corporate human resources staff of SchenkerUSA in Norfolk, Virginia. She will serve as their Corporate Career Planning Manager. Chris Cannon (BBA ’85) recently earned his real estate broker’s license. He is a Vice President and Associate Broker with Blanchard and Calhoun Real Estate. He is married to Carolyn Bentley Cannon (BA ’86) who is Administrative Assistant to the Vice President for Academic Affairs at ASU. Susan Polonus Mucha (BA ’96) has published her first book, Deadly Deception. Keith Mobley (BS ’90) earned a doctorate degree in philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Charlie Austin (BBA ’82) serves as Regional Vice President for Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores and lives in Lebanin, TN. Stacy McGown-Hudson (BA ’03) is the Director Special Events at the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame. Bill Dunwoody (BS ’95) is teaching physics and chemistry at the Lincoln American School in Pei-Tun, Taichung Taiwan. Dr. W. Hal Knight (BA ’72) was named dean of the Claudius G. Clemmer College of Education at East Tennessee State University last July.
