Fifteen international teams have been invited to compete in the event. Along with six-time Tour de France and reigning Dodge Tour de Georgia champion Lance Armstrong, the top echelon of professional cycling are expected to compete including world champion Mario Cipollini and Olympic medalist Bobby Julich. The Dodge Tour de Georgia is a one-of-a-kind rolling festival as well as a world-class racing event and will feature a multitude of activities for spectators in cities statewide. Augusta is no exception, with four days of family fun and festivals planned to welcome the event. For more information, visit www.augustasportscouncil.org.
