Take Back the Night

Celebrating the triumphs of survivors and increasing community awareness about sexual assault is the focus of the 2003 Take Back the Night Rally that will be held Thursday, April 17.

The night will begin at 6:30 p.m. with information tables and displays from the Women’s Studies Program, Rape Crisis Center, and other local organizations. The rally and march will take place at 7:30 p.m.

On April 15 at 8:30 a.m., campus and community volunteers will recognize victims of sexual child abuse by placing a pinwheel for each reported case. The Clothesline Project, T-shirts decorated by a survivor or by someone who cares about them, will also be displayed.
