Dedication of University Village is August 19

University Village—ASU’s new campus housing—will be dedicated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, August 19, at 10 a.m. President William A. Bloodworth, Jr., J. Timothy Shelnut, chair of the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, Elaine Clarke Smith, chair of the ASU Foundation, and other university officials and students will take part in the ceremony.

Many will get their first look at the residential complex that offers apartment-style living to about 500 students. University Village, located across from First Tee and the city’s Aquatic Center, encompasses 24 acres and offers fully-furnished apartments, a clubhouse, swimming pool, computer lab, walking trails, and picnic areas. Students will pay $410 for a four-bedroom apartment or $470 a month for a two-bedroom unit. The cost covers all utilities, including high speed internet access.
