State of the University Address highlights Fall Convocation

The annual Fall Convocation will be held on Tuesday, August 16, at 8:15 a.m. in the Maxwell Theatre, and highlighting the event will be the annual State of the University Address by President William A. Bloodworth, Jr.

The convocation, which also serves as the first faculty meeting of the fall semester, welcomes new and returning faculty. New faculty and chairs will be introduced as well as the administrators who have assumed new roles this year. The event also kicks off the annual A Day for Augusta State University campaign.

The program will be webcast again this year, which will allow those who provide office coverage during the event to also view the convocation.

Refreshments will be served immediately following the ceremony, outside in the Grove.
