State of the University Address highlights Fall Convocation President William A. Bloodworth, Jr., will give the annual State of the University Address at the annual Fall Convocation, which will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 15, at 8:15 a.m. in the Maxwell Theatre. The convocation, which also serves as the first faculty meeting of the fall semester, welcomes new and returning facultyand staff. New faculty and chairs will be introduced as well as the administrators who have assumed new roles this year. The event also kicks off the campus campaign of the A Day for Augusta State University annual fund drive. The program will be webcast again this year, which will allow those who provide office coverage during the event to also view the convocation. Refreshments will be served immediately following the ceremony, outside in the Grove.
