Augusta State Athletics will host its second “Used Car Night” during the men’s basketball home opener on Tuesday, Dec. 5.
The ASU men’s squad, off to a 3-0 start, will face Queens College at 7:30 p.m. in Christenberry Fieldhouse.
“Somebody is leaving with a minivan that night,” Metress said. “We will hand over the keys to one lucky person at the end of the game. We would love to see every seat filled in Christenberry Fieldhouse. We want to make Christenberry the toughest environment that Queens has to play in all year.”
All fans 18 years of age and older that possess a valid driver’s license can register to win the 1996 Ford Windstar sponsored by Hendrix Used Cars of Monetta, S.C. For a chance to win the minivan, with a Kelly blue book value of nearly $5,000, you must register as you enter Christenberry Fieldhouse for the game. You must be present at the time of the car give away to win.
Admission to the game is $5. Children ages five and under are admitted free. All Augusta State University students with a current ID are admitted free to all the home basketball games.
