The Office of Student Activities, along with the American Cancer Society, sponsored the annual Great American Smokeout on Nov. 17. Nineteen pledges to quit smoking were given, 34 pledges to give up something for the day, 57 pledges to adopt a smoker (and help them quit), and 48 quit kits were given out.
