Dr. Robert Pastor

The annual Cullum Lecture Series began Jan. 16 with the keynote speech by Dr. Robert Pastor, vice president of international affairs and professor of international relations at American University. His speech, A North American Community: Vision or Illusion?, focused on the relationship between the United States and its neighbor to the south, Mexico.

Dr. Jim Peach

The following week Dr. Jim Peach, professor of economics at New Mexico State University, continued the series with his presentation, The U.S. – Mexico Border: Economic and Demographic Interaction. The series this year has attracted more than 60 students to enroll for credit. Presentations continue through April and admission is free.
