Alumni Awards

The Augusta State University Alumni Association will recognize outstanding alumni and friends at their annual meeting and awards celebration Friday, Feb. 13, at 6:30 p.m. at the Augusta Country Club.

Award recipients include Shannon Stephens, a counselor in ASU’s Office of Counseling and Testing, ’94, Young Alumna Award; Don Howard, associate professor of marketing, Town and Gown Award; Cuthbert “Coco” Rubio, ’91, Golden Key Award; M. Edward Pettit, acting dean of the Katherine Reese Pamplin College of Arts and Sciences, Distinguished Service Award; and Nick W. Evans, Jr., ’72, Distinguished Alumnus Award.

The association will also present the slate of 2004-2005 board of directors and elect new officers at the ceremony. Tickets are $30, which includes dinner, and are available at ASU’s Office of Alumni Relations.
